THE CHALLENGE:

This 1970’s kitchen needed a full remodel, the only item that worked was one burner on the original range.

In addition to installed a new fully-working range… we had a vision…

THE STORY

This young, growing family needed a modern kitchen, so we got to work.

We removed the soffit that housed the old 1970’s fluorescent light and raised the ceiling to match the rest of the home. We got rid of the wall that separated the kitchen from the dining area and created a great room. The brick wall divider? Yep, we cut into it and created pantry storage and also added an island. We wanted to create a focal point at the new and fully-functioning range, so we removed a side door and and added a colorful backsplash and quartz countertop to compliment the earthy cabinetry.  My clients love their new family-friendly living and gathering space that they will be able to enjoy for many years. And the icing on this beautiful cake?….
