Through the years I have been asked to speak to upcoming interior design students in our industry. I try to be as real and passionate as I can. It’s an incredible and enjoyable life I’ve lived knowing I’m changing people’s lives through my designs.
But without a team behind me, executing our vision, my designs are only conceptual. I would not be successful without my contractors, subcontractors and local vendors. We look after each other. We are after the same vision: making our clients’ projects successful.
My clients tell me how much they enjoy that we source locally… from tile to flooring to the contractors who install it. As much as possible, we do our best to support the businesses that serve the communities in which we live and work.
I understand that establishing respectful relationships with a team creates a strong work force from which my clients benefit and over the past twenty-five years, I’ve done just that. The relationships I’ve fostered have been the foundation for many projects… and have stood the test of time. Bottom line is long term relationships with local business professionals makes for a successful long term business, collaborations and incredible finished projects.
