When anyone starts out on their own in a new business, the dream is to be successful doing what they love… having hopes for the longevity of the business. It is with true gratitude that interior design firm, Rebecca Flynn Interior Design, announces it’s celebration of 25 years in business.
“It was a dream all along to do what I love for a living for as long as I could,” said owner and Certified Interior Designer Rebecca Flynn, “it didn’t even dawn on me at first that as of January 2022, it’s been 25 years!” Flynn continued to express her joy as she showed photos of the recent projects for which she had just done photoshoots for the Rebecca Flynn Interior Design Portfolio. Ms. Flynn as acheived many milestones over of the years including winning over 20 awards for her work including the San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles Small Kitchen of the Year and Bath of the Year, becoming a certified interior designer for both kitchens and baths, presiding as president for the San Diego Chapter of the National Kitchen and Bath Association, sitting as judge for the NKBA National Design Competition, but most of all completing nearly 200 interior design projects.
“I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to work with such amazing clients,” said Flynn. Having completed projects throughout the Greater San Diego area including Poway, Scripps Ranch, Chula Vista, Rancho Bernardo and other surrounding communities, Flynn has worked inside a variety of different home styles and architecturally diverse residences.
Flynn humbly shared, “My clients have said things like ‘I couldn’t have and wouldn’t wanted to have done this without you’ and ‘We not only get compliments on our home, but we get to live in this space that you helped create'” And then she ended with this… “I get to go to work every day feeling like I’m not really working…. I love what I do.”
